• Located in the heart of East Baltimore, in the inner city, near historic Dunbar High School and Johns Hopkins Hospital.
• Approximately 467 students in grades pre-kindergarten through five, 1 all-day pre-kindergarten class; 3 all-day kindergarten classes; 4 first grade classes; 4 second grade classes; 3 third; 4 fourth and fifth grade classes; 1 primary self-contained special education class.
• Resources/programs include: art; vocal music; physical education; string music program; computer lab; performance-based center; alternative to suspension room.
• Approximately 78 staff members with varied levels of experience (15 first or second year teachers).
• Our school has many partners some of which are: Johns Hopkins Hospital, March Funeral Homes, First Union Bank, Ober/Katler Attorneys at Law, and the Teamsters.
